Hi there!

1.1 Billion people across the globe are without toilets almost half of those in India. This impacts every aspect of their life and severely impacts on their health. 

I'm passionate about changing this statistic for the better and getting everyone access to toilets and clean water. It is one of the reasons I studied what I studied and work where I work. 

As such I have joined a number of my Colleagues in forming Team Praan, which means Vitality. As a team we a working on an engineering solution to the twin pit latrine design to make it safer and easier to use. We are liasing and collaborating with local communities affected by those design issues and we are raising funds to fund its implementation through local WaterAid partners. to ensure the solution is appropriate, has high levels of uptake and sustainable through local resources an not reliant on ongoing support from external experts. 

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Water Aid India for the implementation of this project.
