Hi there ! We’re Team Praan from Sydney Water. We’re a bunch of fun, hardworking individuals who’ve come together from all parts of the business because we’re really passionate about this cause and carry it close to our hearts.

This year we’ve been tasked to put together a community engagement plan to help WaterAid improve sanitation in India and get people to use latrines. It’s a sad fact, but almost half of India’s population defecates in the open which results in many preventable deaths from something as simple as diarrhoea. We’ve realised that it’s not just about having access to a toilet, but also educating the population on what a toilet can do for them and empowering communities to make sustainable behavioural changes. There are a lot of brains involved in this challenge and some exciting stuff ahead!
